Images from a photography short trip to the Provence in France. The trip brought us in areas with lavender fields in full bloom. An exceptional experience in intense color and pleasant fragrance.
Lavender is in florescence during June through mid of August. Depending on the species of lavender and on the region harvesting starts mid of July.
Images featured in this gallery have been taken on film using a vintage 1976 Hasselblad 500 C/M camera with a Carl Zeiss 80mm f2.8 Planar T* lens.
Applied film was Fujichrome Velvia 50 and 100, as well as one roll of Ilford HP5 Plus 400.
