7 imagesImpressions of an evening at sunset in February 2015. Mount Rigi offered a perfect location just above the high fog covering central Switzerland and leaving the snow covered Swiss Alps in the bright sun. The images featured in this gallery have been taken using medium format Kodak Portra 400 film, a vintage 1976 Hasselblad 500 C/M camera with Carl Zeiss 80mm f2.8 Planar T* lens, and vintage Yashica light meter. 12 imagesImages from a photography short trip to the Provence in France. The trip brought us in areas with lavender fields in full bloom. An exceptional experience in intense color and pleasant fragrance. Lavender is in florescence during June through mid of August. Depending on the species of lavender and on the region harvesting starts mid of July. Images featured in this gallery have been taken on film using a vintage 1976 Hasselblad 500 C/M camera with a Carl Zeiss 80mm f2.8 Planar T* lens. Applied film was Fujichrome Velvia 50 and 100, as well as one roll of Ilford HP5 Plus 400. Respective digital photography pictures can be found in my landscape gallery - La Route de la Lavence. 9 imagesThe Matterhorn from various locations around Riffelberg and Gornergrat in Zermatt, Switzerland. An easy walk from the track of the Gornergrat railway brings you to the Riffelsee - a little lake in a sort of valley where the iconic peak of the Matterhorn is reflected in the lakes surface. Best time is in the early morning where the sun hits the Matterhorn from the front.
